How to become an ACCA  qualified accountant?

 

Eligibility

 

There is no prior academic qualification to become an ACCA qualified accountant. The student can start at any level of the following examination structure:

 

ENTRY LEVEL 1 (Certificate-Diploma level)

(Students with no formal qualification)

  1. Introductory Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting (2 papers)
  2. Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting (2 papers)
  3. Diploma in Accounting and Business (3 papers)
  4. Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) (7 above papers + 2 additional papers)

 

Students having 2 “A”-levels and 3 GCSE can directly write exam (iii) of Entry Level 1.

 

ENTRY LEVEL 2 (Advanced Diploma level)

Prior qualification: Diploma in Accounting and Business (3 papers)

  1. Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business (6 papers)
  2. BSc from Oxford Brookes University (UK)

 

ENTRY LEVEL 3 (Professional level)

Prior qualification: Entry Level 2

  1. ACCA Professional Accountant Qualification (5 papers)
  2. MBA (Master in Business Administration) from Oxford Brookes University (UK)

Entry Level 1: (7 computer-based exams)

Students can register for the computer-based exams at any time of the year; these exams are written at ACCA approved examination centers.

 

Entry level 2:   (6 paper-based exams)

Exams are scheduled in March, June, September and December at ACCA approved examination centers.

 

Entry level 3    :   (5 paper-based exams)

Exams are scheduled in March, June, September and December at ACCA approved examination centers.

Students need to register as ACCA student with the institution in UK. The registration process can be done on-line and the registration fee is:

Registration with CHEXYS Business School

 

CHEXYS Business School enrolls both part-time and full-time students.

There is no registration fee to enroll for the ACCA course.

Enrolment is validated only after payment of the first installment on any chosen course.

Students need to fill in the Application Form to confirm eligibility before making any payment.

The ACCA Application Form can be forwarded to the student on request by email or can be collected at the school premises in Maputo.
